Providing Innovative Surgical And Clinical Solutions To The Midwestern USA
Helping hospital and surgical leaders evaluate, adopt, and support the right technologies.
Helping hospital and surgical leaders evaluate, adopt, and support the right technologies.
Midwest Surgical Partners was founded by Stephen Poston and Tim Lewis to bring high-quality surgical, biologic, wound care, and medical technology solutions to hospitals, surgery centers, surgeons, and clinical teams across Kansas and Western Missouri.
We built this company around hard work, responsiveness, product knowledge, clinical understanding, and doing the right thing for the providers and facilities we support. From initial product interest to evaluation, education, approval, and adoption, we work to make the process easier, clearer, and more valuable for every stakeholder involved.
Our passion is helping surgeons and clinical teams access solutions that support patient care, recovery, and the path back to function. Let's change lives!
Our value is not just the products we represent. It is how we support them — with preparation, urgency, clinical understanding, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

We support orthopedic, spine, sports medicine, extremity, trauma, and reconstructive teams with biologic and allograft solutions — backed by product knowledge, local OR support, and the follow-through needed to help teams evaluate and implement with confidence.

We work alongside wound care physicians, surgeons, nurses, APPs, and clinic teams to support advanced wound care technologies with product education, sizing guidance, documentation support, ordering coordination, and local follow-through.

We support orthopedic, spine, and surgical teams with bone harvesting technology designed for procedural use — bringing surgeon education, OR team support, product access, and hands-on follow-through from evaluation to implementation.

We do more than introduce products. We help teams move from interest to evaluation, from evaluation to approval, and from approval to confident clinical use through education, documentation, coordination, and local support.

Dr. Jim Marino began his career as an orthopedic surgeon, working directly with patients suffering acute and degenerative lower back pain. At the time, the procedure for relieving this was invasive, and commonly led to injury and trauma. Jim saw the opportunity to enhance his patient’s care, and as a result founded his first company, NuVasive.
As the founder of NuVasive, Dr. Marino developed a method for extracting cancellous bone with less trauma and to help improve patient outcomes.
Jamil Elbanna joined Dr. Marino to turn his vision into a reality, and COREX was born.

We support hospital leadership, supply chain, value analysis, and clinical teams with organized product information, evaluation support, contracting communication, and responsive local follow-through.

We help surgeons, administrators, and clinical teams evaluate surgical, biologic, wound care, and procedural technologies that fit their workflow, facility needs, and patient care goals.

We work with wound care physicians, surgeons, nurses, APPs, and clinic leaders to support product education, evaluation coordination, documentation, and ongoing utilization.
